A man who was found shot to death Tuesday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side has been identified.
About 9:20 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 1200 block of East 72nd Place when they discovered Anthony Richardson, 19, with a gunshot wound inside a residence, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Richardson, who lived along the same block of East 72nd Place, suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his face and was pronounced dead at 9:41 p.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
No one was in custody.
