A man has passed away after he was discovered in a public toilet following a 'concern for safety' report.
Police officers were contacted and requested to come to the toilets in Lord Roberts Road in Beverley, Hull on Monday evening following safety concerns for a man.
The man was tragically discovered deceased inside the small building, The Mirror reported.
A part of the road was sectioned off by the authorities for more than two hours, however, it is understood the death is not thought to be suspicious, reports Hull Live.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: "We were called to reports of a concern for safety of a person on Lord Roberts Road in Beverley at around 8.30pm yesterday evening.
"On arrival a man was found deceased in a public toilet. The circumstances of his death are not being treated as suspicious at this time."
The toilets are positioned between a flower shop and a car park, facing flats.
A witness revealed: "There were multiple police cars on the road and they had taped off the area outside the toilets.
"People are saying that it was a man who died in there."
