A Slovenian man was found dead in a condominium room in Pattaya on Wednesday. Police believe he killed himself.

The body of Peter Vagner, a 47-year-old Slovenian, was found in Unixx South Pattaya condominium. He was wearing black shorts and a green T-shirt and was found on a sofa on the 29th floor. His head was wrapped in a plastic bag, with a rubber tube connected to a gas cylinder.

Police found no evidence of a struggle or of the room being ransacked.

Vagner had been staying in the condo for about one month. His death was discovered by a condo attendant who opened the room for inspection after unsuccessful attempts to reach the man by phone. The initial assessment is suicide.
