Man found dead in flat 'under suspicious circumstances' as police make arrests

A MAN has been found dead in a flat in the east end of Glasgow. 

Police were called to the scene at Dyke Street, Baillieston around 6am where they discovered the body of the 51-year-old.

He is believed to have died "under suspicious circumstances".

A woman, 37, and a second man, 39, have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

Images from the scene show a large police presence swarming the Baillieston property with officers guarding a cordon around the area.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 39-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the death of a 51-year-old man within a property in the Dyke Street area of Glasgow.

"The body of the man was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, December 10, 2023.

"The death is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
