A man was found dead in Liverpool after police were called to reports of concern for safety.
Merseyside Police were alerted to concerns for the safety of a man, in his 40s, at a property in Kensington. The incident happened at around 2.10pm on Wednesday, December 28,
Some time later, it was reported the man was found at L7 Village Market, on Prescot Road. Paramedics and police attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have said that the man's death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services were called to a concern for safety of a man on Prescot Road on Wednesday 28 December. At around 2.10pm we received a report of a concern for safety of a man in his 40s at an address in Kensington.
"It was later reported that the man was located at Market Village on Prescot Road and was he was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious."
