Man found dead at Scots property as emergency crews rush to scene

A man has been found dead at a property in Perth.

Emergency services including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service raced to Allison Crescent in the city at around 11.30pm on Thursday June 2 after receiving a concern for a person call.

Crews discovered a 39-year-old man within, but he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have confirmed that they are not treating the death as suspicious.

They added that a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.30pm on Thursday, 2 June, 2022, police attended at a property in Allison Crescent, Perth following a report of a concern for a person.

"A 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
