Man found dead at home in Walton

A man was found dead at their home in Walton.

David Cosgrove died in his house on St Mary's Lane, Walton, on Thursday, February 9. Police are now searching for the man's next of kin to inform them of his death, after the coroner's office asked the force to share an appeal.

Officers have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 55-year-old.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Can you help trace the next-of-kin of a man from Walton who has passed away? Mr David Cosgrove, 55 years, sadly died at his home on St Mary’s Lane on 9 February.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Anyone who knows the next-of-kin of Mr Cosgrove is asked to contact Liverpool Coroner's Office by or call 0151 351 0576 (option 1) or email pamela.robbins1@liverpool.gov.uk."
