A man left a suitcase containing thousands of pounds worth of cannabis on a train to Glasgow.
The discovery was made by British Transport Police after rail staff reported the man onboard was acting suspiciously.
He alighted at Motherwell but forgot his suitcase. Drugs worth £6,000 were found inside the forgotten bag.

Officers from British Transport Police confirmed that an investigation is now underway in order to trace the man.
Sharing the discovery on social media alongside pictures of the suitcase, they said: "Leave something behind? Yesterday rail staff reported a man acting suspiciously on-board a Glasgow-bound train.
"He alighted at Motherwell but forgot his suitcase containing £6k of cannabis. Investigation to put him before the courts underway."
