A bloke has left social media users dumbfounded after sharing that he flew all the way to Ibiza to enjoy a pint for less than it would cost to buy a crate of beer in London.
Callum Ryan took to TikTok to share his journey, as he said he "set himself a challenge" to fly overseas to Spain and sit down for a drink in a bar without breaking his cheap budget.
Callum, 22, went to his local supermarket and spotted a crate of 12 cans of Estrella for £15, and was determined to complete his mission without exceeding the price in store.
He got lucky and managed to find a last-minute flight that cost him just £10 from London to Ibiza, so hopped on a plane and landed on the sunny island feeling thirsty.
As he walked around Ibiza, Callum said: "I had a little stroll around to find the most popular restaurant and headed straight there."
He ordered lunch - but didn't count it into the budget - then asked for a pint of Estrella and waited to see what it would cost him.
"When the pint arrived, it looked beautiful. The sun was beaming down on my face and I couldn't be happier. But once I'd finished my food, it was time to pay the bill," he said.
The pint on its own was €4 which cost £3.22 in sterling, meaning Callum had just scraped the £15 limit.
"We did it! We flew all the way to Ibiza and bought a pint cheaper than a crate of beer," Callum said, kissing the receipt.
Callum, known as @thatonecal, captioned the video: "Do you think the pint was worth the trip...? Can't believe how close it was."
The clip posted yesterday has already racked up 24,000 views and thousands of comments, with some followers amazed and others less impressed.
"Guess I'm going to Ibiza then," one person said, while another put: "How do you keep doing this?"
"Shows how much of a joke the UK is, let's all go abroad," a third commented, and a fourth said: "Killed it."
Though one user questioned how Callum had got back to London and another said it was "less beer though".
