Man filmed jumping 200ft off Durdle Door just weeks after three seriously injured

A man has been filmed jumping off the top of Durdle Door just weeks after three men were seriously injured doing the same thing.

Footage shows the daredevil flinging himself off the beauty spot on the Dorset coast.

Some people watch the scene from the beach as the man jumps from Durdle Door.

He can be seen jumping 200ft with his arms outstretched before landing in the water.

The thrillseeker then returns to the surface and swims towards the beach.

It comes just three weeks after a 20-year-old man suffered serious spinal injuries jumping off the arch.

Another jumper, aged around 25, was airlifted to hospital after suffering spinal injuries.

A third left in an ambulance with a suspected broken leg.

Warnings have been issued about the dangers of swimming in the sea around Durdle Door after the death of a man who disappeared underwater near the famous arch.

The body of the man, who was in his twenties, was found near Man O'War Beach on Tuesday, June 23, two days after he went missing after running into difficulties while swimming.

With no lifeguards currently patrolling the Durdle Door area, police are urging swimmers to take extra precautions while in the ocean off the Dorset coast, Somerset Live reports.
