A man is fighting for his life after a 'disturbance' on a Glasgow street on Tuesday.
Emergency services raced to Cardross Court, Dennistoun at around 8.20pm following reports of an incident.
The 22-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where medics described his condition as critical.
Police say a 27-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the incident.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances and anyone with any information is urged to come forward.
The street was sealed off today as cops examined the area, with officers standing guard outside a block of flats.
Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.20 pm on Tuesday, May 30, police were called to a disturbance in Cardross Court, Dennistoun Glasgow.
"A 22-year-old man was found injured following the incident and was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as critical.
"A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
