A man is in a critical condition in hospital following a stabbing at a reggae music festival in Milton Keynes.
Police believe the incident at the Reggae Land festival on Sunday night is a targeted attack and there is no risk to festival goers or the wider public.
Officers were informed a man had been assaulted in the main arena at The National Bowl at around 8.50pm, Thames Valley Police said.
They attended along with medical staff and the injured man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, where his condition is described as critical.
The force said it is carrying out a thorough investigation into the incident and is working with event organisers and their security team.
Forensic examinations and CCTV inquiries will be made, with a number of witness statements already taken.
