A man is in a critical condition after crashing into a wall in Childwall.
The man, in his 70s, was driving a Ford Fiesta when it is reported he suffered a medical episode at the wheel and crashed into the front garden wall of a property. The incident happened Bowland Avenue in Childwall at around 7.20pm on Monday, July 10.
The North West Ambulance Service and fire service were also called to the scene. Police said a man in his 70s suffered a medical episode at the wheel and was taken to hospital. Officers have confirmed the man remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Before emergency services arrived a man, who asked not to be named, said he was sat on the couch when he heard a “huge bang” from outside. He told The ECHO: “I jumped out, looked up and saw what happened.
"I ran over and there was a few people there so we got the fella out of the car." It is understood the driver was given CPR at the scene by neighbours before emergency services arrived and took over.
The man added that the couple who live in the house were at home at the time of the crash, but weren't injured. In a statement from Merseyside Police a spokesperson said: "We are in the early stages of the investigation and appeal for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist us.
