The Clifton-born singer was celebrating the tenth anniversary of his self-titled debut album when the incident occurred on Saturday (November 26).

A member of the crowd who was at the gig told Nottinghamshire Live that a man appeared to have fallen backwards down a set of stairs in the arena.

The Motorpoint Arena has now confirmed that a man was injured at the venue on Saturday night. A spokesperson for the arena said: "A male customer fell and sustained an injury whilst at our venue on Saturday evening.
