Police want the public's assistance to track down those responsible for the stabbing death of a man in a park fight in Sydney's southwest.
The 24-year-old died at the scene after being stabbed in the brawl at Leonard Reserve, Roselands, on Thursday night, police said.
Police believe there were several people involved, with many last seen running west along a nearby street.
An investigation by Campsie detectives and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad is under way.
Police Superintendent Sheridan Waldau said it was "obviously a very concerning event", especially as it occurred in a local family park.
"We know that there were a number of people there at the time and we know that they know what happened," she said on Friday.
"We are appealing for those people to come forward and give us that information so that we can have a clearer picture as to what has happened."
