A man was fatally shot in Lake View early Saturday, police said.
The 35-year-old was found with a chest wound on a sidewalk in the 500 block of West Surf Street around 2:15 a.m., Chicago police said.
He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody.
