A man has sadly died after falling from a high-rise tower block in Salford. Last night emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident on Michigan Avenue at around 7pm.
Pictures from last night showed crews outside of Michigan Point Tower A, with firefighters spotted going in and out of the building.

Police said a man sadly died at the scene. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing but there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Last night (13/10/2022) just before 7pm we were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on Michigan Avenue, Salford Quays.
"Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he sadly died from his injuries. Early enquiries suggest that the man fell from a building.
"Enquiries are ongoing but there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
