Man dubbed 'Wolverine' due to raw meat diet says 'brains' are his favourite food

A health and fitness coach has been likened to the character of 'Wolverine' after opening up to fans about his raw meat-only diet, with brains being his dish of choice

Weam Breiche, 31, has raised some eyebrows with his carnivorous appetite, with his dinners not exactly being everybody's cup of tea.

Weam, who is originally from Lebanon but lives in LA, found himself getting a taste for eating raw meat and says he would regularly chow down on five plates of raw organs for each meal as an appetiser.

Motivated by a focus on his overall wellness, Weam later went on to follow a plant-based diet. However, this didn't last long, with Weam claiming he began experiencing health issues as a result.

After paying a visit to his doctor, who he claims found inflammation in his digestive and nervous system, Weam switched back to his raw meat meals and has no regrets.

He said: "As I adopted this diet, I started reading books about the benefits of meat and a lot of carnivore doctors eat their meat raw – so I decided to go for it."

Weam's diet now consists of 90% raw meat and a whopping 4,500 calories every day in a bid to build his muscle.

For breakfast, he will blend half a pound of raw beef with two teaspoons of raw butter, half a teaspoon of salt, and raw eggs, followed by a meaty lunch of two veal testicles, a veal brain, lamb liver, beef kidney, beef heart, beef bone marrow, and raw butter.

At dinnertime, Weam will dine on raw steak slices and butter, sometimes pairing this meal with an unflavoured grass-fed protein shake.

He said: "My favourite raw food is my concoction [in the morning] and veal brains. I also like raw ribeyes and fillets. I’m not a fan of raw chicken and pork – I’ve actually never tried them. I don’t even eat them cooked either."

Weam acknowledges that his diet comes with risk, but he believes the potential health benefits outweigh this and he says he's yet to experience any complications.

"You might risk bacterial infection, but a healthy gut is totally capable of destroying harmful bacteria," he claims.

In a recent video uploaded to TikTok, which has so far received almost three million views and more than 237,000 likes, Weam can't be seen taking a huge bite out of a raw veal brain, which he then washes down with a glass of raw eggs.

Weam's followers couldn't believe what they were watching. One person compared him to 'Wolverine', while another declared that there would be a "full moon tonight".

Although he certainly has to contend with a somewhat mixed reaction to his diet, Weam doesn't mind being called Wolverine at all.

He said: He added: "I get a lot of love from people who want help – especially overweight kids that struggle with confidence. I also get tons of hate, especially from the vegan community, who continuously report my account and threaten to remove it.

"A lot of people focus on being in shape within the fitness world, but neglect actually being healthy – physically and mentally. I’ve tried all diets and struggled with haemorrhoids, as well as anal fischers [in the past].

"Using the restroom was a struggle for me until I started my meat-only diet and now my digestion is optimal. Raw meat is the easiest to digest and I don’t care what doctors say, I know what I feel".
