Man dies suddenly in Cardiff's Cefn Onn park

A man died suddenly on Saturday morning in a Cardiff park. Police, paramedics and an air ambulance attended Cefn Onn Park in Lisvane but the man could not be saved.

The 77-year-old man died at about 8.20am, a South Wales Police spokeswoman confirmed. She added: "There are no suspicious circumstances and next of kin have been informed."

A spokesman for Wales Air Ambulance said the charity had attended a medical emergency. Locals on social media reported seeing many ambulances and police cars heading into the park at about 8.30am.

An air ambulance was also seen landing there at around that time. The park reopened by 12.15pm.
