Man dies suddenly at Scots property as cops probe 'unexplained' death

Police have launched a probe after a man died suddenly at a Scots property.

Emergency services were called to Glencroft Road in Croftfoot, Glasgow, after the alarm was raised at around 7.30pm on Sunday. Officers were made aware of the death of a 57-year-old man at the property.

The death is being treated as unexplained but his next of kin have been made aware. Officers say their enquiries into the death are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware around 7.30pm on Sunday, 18 December of the sudden death of a 57-year-old man at a property at Glencroft Road in Glasgow.

“His next of kin are aware. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
