A man has died suddenly at his Renfrew home this morning, January 22.
Police were called just before 11am and sped to the scene on Paisley Road where the body of a 53-year-old man, who has not yet been named, was found at the address.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death at this time, police have confirmed, but enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened, reports the Daily Record.

A photo taken at the scene shows a tent erected at the entrance of the property, blocking it off from view to motorists and passers-by.
The surrounding area has also been cordoned off, stretching from the bus stop to nearby shops while two uniformed cops stand guard.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of the sudden death of a 53-year-old man on Paisley Road, Renfrew around 10.55am on Sunday, 22 January, 2023.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
