A man was found unresponsive on an easyJet flight that took off from Greece, bound for the UK, before being pronounced dead by paramedics on landing.
According to passengers on board the flight, the alarm was raised when the man in his 50s “wouldn't wake up”.
Urgent attempts were made to resuscitate the passenger with a defibrillator, but it proved unsuccessful, reports the Star.

It is understood that the man was travelling alone at the time of the incident.
A young member of the cabin crew has since been praised for taking quick action, as one passenger explained: "She's done absolutely amazingly, must be so tricky. The team handled the situation with extraordinary composure and professionalism."
The fully booked flight - EZY8454 - was bringing many holidaymakers home from Paphos. It took off from the Greek island at 12.20 pm Irish time but concerns for the man's welfare were only raised three hours later.
EasyJet cabin crew asked across the plane whether anyone on the flight was a certified doctor or paramedic which led to two people raising their hands but unfortunately, neither was able to save the man's life.
A man in by the window seat beside the passenger was helped to find a new seat and a defibrillator was brought out to try and resuscitate the man.
Cabin crew offered nearby passengers the opportunity to move seats at the time of the incident as well.
At 4.28 pm GMT, as the plane passed over Paris, France, the flight's captain confirmed there had been a "medical incident" and asked for everyone to treat the man with dignity.
Passengers were asked to remain on board after landing at Gatwick so that paramedics could board and pronounce the passenger's death.
An EasyJet spokesperson said: "EasyJet can confirm that sadly a passenger died onboard flight EZY8454 from Paphos to London Gatwick on 17 November.
“The well-being of our passengers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority. Our crew is trained to respond to medical issues and did all possible during the flight.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the customer and we are offering support and assistance at this difficult time."
