A large police presence was spotted in a quiet Leeds street on Thursday afternoon, following reports that a man was in need of medical attention.
The incident took place shortly after 12pm on Thursday, April 28, on Fleet Lane, Oulton with police officers dispatched to the scene following a call from the ambulance service.
Sadly, while in attendance, the man was pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of paramedics.

In a statement released by West Yorkshire Police, they said: “At 12.04pm today (Thursday), police were notified by the ambulance service that a man was receiving medical assistance in Fleet Lane, Oulton.
The man was sadly pronounced deceased by paramedics a short time later. Enquiries are continuing at the scene, however the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
A noticeable police presence was still in the area by 3pm, although road access is now unaffected.
