A man has been pronounced dead following a stabbing in Swords earlier this week.
An Garda Siochana confirmed that the victim died in Beaumont Hospital this afternoon from injuries sustained in a stabbing. He was assaulted on Brookdale Avenue in Swords on Thursday evening before being rushed to hospital.
A man, aged in his early twenties, was subsequently arrested and later charged in relation to the assault. He appeared before a special sitting at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Saturday afternoon.
