A man in his 60s has died following a fatal accident at a farm in Galway.
Gardai attended the workplace incident in the Derreen area near Gort just after 7pm on Tuesday.
The man's body was removed from the scene to University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem is due to take place.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has also been notified, Galway Beo reports.

A gardai spokesman told Galway Beo: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal workplace accident that occurred on Tuesday, the 12th of July 2022 in the Derreen area of Gort, Co Galway.
"At approximately 7:10pm, the body of a man aged in his sixties was located on a farm in the area.
"The body of the man was removed from the scene to University Hospital Galway where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
"The Health & Safety Authority (HSA) have been notified and will conduct an investigation of their own."
It is not yet known what happened during the accident.
Meanwhile, a man is in critical condition after an incident at an Irish beach on Tuesday.
Emergency services were deployed after it was reported that two swimmers had been pulled out to sea at Fanore beach in north Clare at around 9.45pm.
Gardai, ambulance and the local Coastguard responded to the scene. It is believed that one person made it ashore safely while the second, a man, was taken from the water by the helicopter crew.
The second man has been flown to University Hospital Galway and is understood to be in a critical condition.
