A man has died after a horror motorbike crash in Newcastle.
At around 1.45pm on Friday, emergency services attended Walker Road near St Anthony's Park, on the edge of Byker, where the collision took place between a motorbike and a car.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man riding the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family have been informed.
Police have confirmed an investigation is now under way into the fatal crash and officers are still in the area carrying out inquiries.
A huge police presence was seen at the scene of the collision with multiple roads closed off, causing significant disruption to traffic.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “At 1.45pm today (Friday) we received a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Walker Road, Newcastle.
“Emergency services attended but sadly the male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been notified.
“An investigation is ongoing into the collision. The road is currently closed and officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries.

A North East Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 13:32 to a road traffic collision between a car and a motorcyclist on Walker Road in Byker.
"We sent a Hazardous Area Response Team, a specialist paramedic and an emergency ambulance to treat the patient at the scene."
