Man dies after Glasgow crash shutting off road at Clyde Tunnel

A MAN has died after a crash in Glasgow shutting off a road at the Clyde Tunnel.

The crash happened at around 1.50pm today with emergency services still on the scene.

Balshagray Avenue is currently closed to all traffic between Victoria Park Drive North and Crow Road, near Victoria Park, due to the collision.

Investigations are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A man has died following a crash on Balshagray Avenue, Glasgow. It happened at 1.50pm today.

“Emergency services remain on the scene.

“Balshagray Avenue at Victoria Park Gardens South, along with Victoria Park Drive northbound from the Clyde Tunnel remains closed.

“Please avoid the area and use an alternative route.”
