Man dies after falling from block of flats in Scottish city

A man has died after falling from a flat window in Glasgow.

Police were alerted to the incident at around 1.35pm on Great Western Road in the West End on Thursday, February 6.

The force received a report that a man had fallen from the window of a block of flats.

Emergency crews raced to the area, however, the man sadly died at the scene.

Officers have since revealed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1.35pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025, police were called to Great Western Road, Glasgow, following a report that a man had fallen from the window of a block of flats.

"Officers and emergency services attended but the man died at the scene.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
