A man has died after being found unresponsive in Newport. A 49-year-old man was found unresponsive in Mission Court in Newport, near Newport Magistrates' Court and HM Passport Office, at about 10.20am on Monday, April 17.
Officers from Gwent Police attended along with the Welsh Ambulance Service who confirmed the man had died. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been submitted to the coroner.
A spokesperson from Gwent Police said: "We received a report that a man had been found unresponsive in Mission Court, Newport, at around 10.20am on Monday April 17.
"Officers attended along with personnel from the Welsh Ambulance Service, who confirmed that a 49-year-old man had died. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been submitted to the coroner in relation to the death."
