A man has died after being found critically injured in a Scots town.
Police launched a probe into the sudden death on South Street in Greenock at around 1.10pm on Sunday, August 28.
Cops were called to reports of a 57-year-old man fighting for his life at a property on the street. He later died.
Pictures taken from the scene on Friday, September 2, showed forensic officers combing the scene.
Police say their enquiries into the death, which they are treating as unexplained, remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a man critically injured at a property on South Street, Greenock at around 1.10pm on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
