A man has died at a home in regional NSW and another is in hospital after he was found with head injuries nearby.
Emergency workers were called to a home in Wagga Wagga around 5pm on Thursday to follow up a concern for welfare report.
Police said a man was found with serious injuries in the Ashmont home and died at the scene.
He hasn't been formally identified but is believed to be in his 50s.
Another man believed to be in his late 40s was found with head injuries a short distance away.
He is in a stable condition at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
NSW Police are urging anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward.
