Man seen with huge snake wrapped around him walking down Scots street

A man has been spotted dancing with a huge snake wrapped around him in the middle of a Scots road.

The moment was captured on camera by Jade Wilson, 27, who was stunned to see the sight in Camelon, Falkirk, on Tuesday night.

Jade and her best friend Matilda Ashton were on their way to McDonald's for tea when they noticed the man at the side of the road.

Jade got her phone out to take a video of the man in action.

In the clip he can be seen to be dressed in all black and wearing a skip cap while standing nearby a bus stop.

As he shuffles about, a huge snake can be seen to be wrapped around his body.

He puts his arms out at either side of his body as he appears to look at the camera, while Jade can be heard saying: "Only in Camelon."

She continues: "He's got his big snake. What the f*** is he doing?"

Jade, from Grangemouth, says the man continued dancing around on the middle of the road after speaking to a passer-by on the street.

Speaking to the Record, she said: "We were just driving through Camelon and he was just there with the snake dancing.

"We went past him and when we turned back he was in the middle of the road, still dancing.

"I was just passing by and he was on the other side of the road talking to somebody then he started dancing about.

"I was just like, 'what the hell is going on'. This is not normal."

Jade quickly posted the footage on TikTok, leaving social media users in stitches.

One person said: "Jesus Christ Jade", while another added: "That's class."

Meanwhile, a third joked: "He's a rocket."

Since posting the video online, Jade says she's been told the local man is well-known and owns a number of snakes.

She added: "I don't know who he is but apparently he's got 19 more snakes.

"We were just off to McDonald's when we spotted him, it was an eventful night!"

A spokeswoman for the Scottish SPCA said: "There’s no inherent welfare problem with having a snake outdoors, as long as it is not too cold, so there’s no infringement of the snake’s welfare needs in doing this."
