A man was cut out of a car after it flipped onto its roof in a field following a crash.
Emergency services received a 999 call just after 3pm on Friday, February 3, following reports of a crash on Telegraph Road in Heswall, Wirral. Once Merseyside Police got to the scene they found a silver Peugeot on its roof in a field near the Tesco supermarket.
It's believed the driver hit the pavement before the car flipped and no other vehicles were involved in the crash. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene as one person was trapped inside the car.

Firefighters cut off the driver's side door of the car before safely removing the man inside. He was then taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering minor injuries during the incident.
Telegraph Road and Thurstaston Road were closed during the incident but have since reopened.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services are currently on Telegraph Road in Heswall following a collision earlier this afternoon (Friday 3 February). Just before 3.15pm we received reports that a silver Peugeot drove into the pavement on Telegraph Road.
"Emergency services attended and safely removed a man from the vehicle. He has been taken to hospital after sustaining minor injuries from the collision."
A spokesperson from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: "Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called to Telegraph Road, Heswall, on Friday 3rd February. Crews were alerted at 3.17pm and on scene shortly after. Two fire engines attended.
"On arrival crews found one car on its roof in a field. One person was still inside the vehicle. Firefighters stabilised the vehicle before removing the driver’s side door to allow the person to be released.
"They were then handed into the care of paramedics and taken to hospital for further assessment. The incident was handed over to Merseyside Police and fire crews left the scene at 4.10pm."
