Police have launched a probe after a man collapsed and died in a Scots car park.
Emergency services raced to East Kilbride Sports Club at Calderglen Country Park after the alarm was raised at around 10.10pm on Saturday July 30.
A 58-year-old had collapsed in the car park area of the club.
Ambulance crews attended but the man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Pictures taken from the scene on Sunday afternoon showed an area of the car park cordoned off by police.
A blue forensic tent was erected while officers in boiler suits combed the scene.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained. Officers say their enquiries are at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a 58-year-old man who had collapsed in a car park in Strathaven Road, East Kilbride, around 10.10pm on Saturday, July 30.
"Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are at an early stage."
