Manchester City XI vs Norwich: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Gabriel Jesus remains sidelined for Manchester City’s game against Norwich.

Jesus picked up a knock while on World Cup qualifying duty with Brazil and is not ready to return for the trip to Carrow Road.

After naming Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish on the bench for the midweek win over Brentford after pictures emerged of them on a night out, Pep Guardiola will decide whether to bring the duo back into the team.

If he does start, Grealish will come up against his former Aston Villa manager Dean Smith.

Guardiola said: “Jack played good when he played. He helps us be in the position we are now. He’s playing at a high level. He changed from one life in Birmingham to here, he needs time but the way he has played has been good - wide and central positions.

“Even Fernandinho, the player I have been together with since day one, always I still push them to be better every day. When we come to the training centre we must think ‘how can we be better?’”

Cole Palmer remains out with the foot injury he suffered in the 4-1 FA Cup win over Swindon Town last month.

Manchester City predicted XI: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez, Silva, Grealish.
