Defender Akanji will undergo surgery on the injury he sustained during that game, while Grealish also misses out on the squad.
Phil Foden gets the nod behind Erling Haaland, while Omar Marmoush is recalled and Jeremy Doku is named on the bench along with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.
