Man City XI vs Bournemouth: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League game

Erling Haaland once again spearheads Manchester City’s attack against newly-promoted Bournemouth this afternoon, but Pep Guardiola could make changes elsewhere.

Phil Foden and Jack Grealish got the nod against West Ham on opening weekend and were effective without particularly standing out, although the latter drops to the bench.

Riyad Mahrez, who was afforded just one minute of action at the London Stadium comes in over Grealish.

Elsewhere, Bernardo Silva - who is a target for Barcelona - sit outs as Ilkay Gundogan partners Kevin De Bruyne and Ikay Gundogan. Kalvin Phillips is not available, while Cole Palmer is a doubt.

Guardiola has an almost fully fit squad, with Aymeric Laporte his only other absentee. The defender is nursing the same injury which ruled him out of the pre-season tour of America, and is not expected back until September.

Man City starting XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo; Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne; Foden, Haaland, Mahrez
