After plenty of bumps in their Champions League journey so far this season, Chelsea have made their way into the final eight of the competition. The Blues managed to overcome Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16 after trailing 1-0 from the first leg at the Signal Iduna Park.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz were enough to send the side through to the quarter-finals for yet another year, continuing their strong streak in the competition. "To win a game and progress into the last eight of the Champions League, you have to say it's up there in terms of wins and evenings in my career, for sure," Graham Potter said in reflection after the victory.
It has proven to be a key result for the Blues, who still have something to fight for this campaign, despite their difficulties on the pitch so far. The pressure has lifted somewhat from Potter's shoulders as results start to pick up, adding momentum to the side that could take them anywhere.

As proven under former boss Thomas Tuchel in his first season, having a tailwind of results can often help the side push forward all the way to an unlikely European title. If the Blues were to do that, they have some tough opposition standing in their way as the other remaining seven sides were confirmed on Wednesday night.
Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Napoli, Benfica, Inter Milan and AC Milan all join the Blues in the next round, with the draw being made on Friday. Predictors FiveThirtyEight have since released the latest on each side's chance of winning the whole competition.
Chelsea rank sixth out of eight, having just a six percent chance of winning the competition with only Inter Milan and AC Milan - four and two percent respectively - registering a lower probability. Benfica have been given a slightly better chance of winning at seven percent, while Serie A champions in waiting Napoli are at 11 percent.
Then there's the big three, which will seemingly cause issues for whichever side they come up against in the latter stages of the contest. Real Madrid rank third, with the current holders and record winners of the competition ranked at 14 percent after the demolishing victory over Liverpool.
Ranked second are Bayern Munich at 23 percent, who have looked convincing in Europe under Julian Nagelsmann, but face a title fight in the Bundesliga. Then there's Manchester City, who are given a huge 33 percent chance of winning the competition after their smashing 8-1 win over RB Leipzig on aggregate.
The Citizens are far from their fluent best in performances and like Bayern find themselves in an unlikely title race heading into the last few months of the season. However, their latest form in Europe is imperious as the side look to add the one jewel missing from their crown.
It remains to be seen who the Blues will draw and how it will impact their chances of winning the competition for a third time in their history, but in cup football there is very little that can be ruled out from happening.
