Lucy Bronze has signed with Barcelona Femeni after leaving Manchester City Women on a free transfer.
City confirmed that Bronze would be leaving the club for a second time upon the expiration of her contract back in May and Barcelona have now confirmed the signing of the England right-back. Her deal at the club will officially come to an end on June 30 after which her switch to Spain will be completed.
She has penned a two-year deal in Catalonia and has passed a medical. On the move, Bronze said: "I'm very happy to play for a club like FC Barcelona, one of the biggest teams in the world. I really want to start working with the team."

Bronze departs Manchester two years on from her return to the Blues in 2020, having lifted FA Cup and League Cup in her second stint at the club, in which she was also named FIFA Best Women's Player of the Year in 2020. Bronze initially spent three years at the CFA between 2014 and 2017 as she established herself as one of the best players in the women's game and helped the club to win the Women's Super League as well as the Conti Cup and FA Cup.
The 30-year-old spent three seasons at French giants Lyon between her spells at City where she enjoyed yet more success with three Champions League and three domestic title triumphs. Bronze leaves City having made 111 appearances in total and scoring 14 goals.
