Man City vs Fulham prediction and odds: Goals on the menu in FA Cup fourth-round tie

Checkout our 49/20 Man City vs Fulham prediction below

There won't be many sides outside of the Premier League that would fancy their chances of scoring away at Manchester City but Fulham are surely high up that list and the Cottagers can play their part in an entertaining Etihad encounter on Saturday.

Man City are obviously red-hot favourites to win this game and progress in the competition but their 1/9 odds with Grosvenor Sport will make little appeal even to acca players. However, for all that they face an uphill task, the 19/1 about Fulham will tempt in a few more optimistic punters.

Fulham have scored a remarkable 74 goals in the Championship this season, averaging 2.64 goals per game, and strike Aleksandar Mitrovic is on track to break the magical 50-goal landmark in a single season.

Barring a dramatic collapse, Fulham will be playing Premier League football next season so it will be interesting to see just what sort of game they can give a Manchester City side that have lost just one domestic game at home all season.

Pep Guardiola tends to go strong in terms of team selection in the cups but they have conceded goals to Wycombe and Swindon in knockout competitions this season and neither of those sides come close to having the firepower of Fulham who look a great bet to get on the scoresheet at the Etihad.

Fulham's defensive record on the road is one of the strongest in their division but even if they ride their luck at times on Saturday, it's extremely difficult to see them keeping City out.

Man City vs Fulham prediction

Fulham have a terrible recent record against City and have failed to score in their last seven matches against them, but they are a different animal under Marco Silva and although victory looks a bride too far, the Cottagers can play their part in an entertaining game.

Both teams to score looks a big runner at 49/50 with Grosvenor Sport but we can boost that to almost 3/1 if we combine it with over 3.5 goals, a bet that would landed when City went to Swindon in the third round.

Recommended bet: Both Teams to Score and Over 3.5 goals - 49/20
