Manchester City go into Wednesday's Champions League group game with FC Copenhagen as the shortest-priced match favourites of the competition so far. City are 1/20 with Betway which means a £100 wager on Pep Guardiola's side will return just £105 and it's hard to argue with those odds given how strong City look right now.
The mood around the Etihad could hardly be any more bouyant after Sunday's demolition of Manchester United and City fans will not only be confident about another Premier League title coming their way, but a maiden Champions League success to boot. They are 9/4 favourites to win the competition for the first time and it's hard to see just can stop City right now.
It is most unlikely to be FC Copenhagen who sit eighth in the Danish SAS Ligaen and third in Champions League Group G with just a single point, which was earned in a 0-0 draw with Sevilla on matchday 1.
Copenhagen are not a side in form, indeed they go into the Etihad clash on the back of just two wins in their lasty eight games all competitions - and those wins were both by a 1-0 scoreline. The goals have dried up since top scorer Biel Mas left for Olympiakos at the end of August, so much so that they have scored just four goals in six subsequent matches and xG totals of 0.5 and 0.6 in their two Champions League games this term hardly bode well for a trip to Man City.
With such little attacking threat, don't be surprised if the Danes come to frustrate City with a packed midfield - a point would be a great result for Jess Thorup's side but they will surely not be able to cope with the world's most in-form striker Erling Haaland, who has already much such a huge impact at City.
Haaland is just 1/5 to score at any time and 3/1 to score another hat-trick. They are ridiculoulsy short odds but he's a ridiculously good player.

City are such a restrictive price in outright match odds that this looks a game where punters are going to get a bit creative. City to win to nil is an obvious wager but it's a 2/5 chance so isn't going to appeal to many either.
Betway have a number of big-game boost and the one that makes most appeal is the 11/8 about Phil Foden to score any time and City to win. Foden is on cloud nine after scoring a hat-trick in Sunday's Manchester derby and he'll be keen to keep that goalscoring form going.
