Man City vs Brighton: Prediction, kick-off time today, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Manchester City meet Brighton in the Premier League today.

Champions Man City are fifth in the Premier League table but are only a point ahead of the in-form Seagulls.

City lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest last time out and Pep Guardiola has described their run-in as “ten finals”, such has been their struggle this season.

The visitors, meanwhile, are on a remarkable run of form, winning their last four League games after the heavy 7-0 defeat to Forest back in February.

Brighton struck late to beat Fulham 2-1 last weekend and arrive at the Etihad Stadium full of confidence.

Man City vs Brighton team news

City are missing a host of key players. Nathan Ake will miss around 11 weeks of action, while all of John Stones, Rodri, Oscar Bobb and Manuel Akankji are injured.

Kevin De Bruyne, Mateo Kovacic and Omar Marmoush did not start against Forest, though could feature from the off here.

All of Jason Steele, Ferdi Kadioglu, James Miler and Igor are also out.

Man City vs Brighton prediction

It remains difficult to trust City. Brighton look exactly the kind of team to cause them big problems, as they did during their victory at the Amex Stadium earlier this season.

In fine fettle heading into the game, the Seagulls look likely to claim a huge win.

Brighton to win, 2-1.
