Manchester City will put their Premier League title race to one side for now when they welcome German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final first leg. The hosts will be looking to add to their two wins at home against Munich while their only defeat against the Bundesliga champions in Manchester came when Pep Guardiola was at Bayern.
City are the favourites going into this match at 8/13 with Betfred while Guardiola's former club are 4/1 and a draw is 3/1 ahead of the Champions League clash at the Etihad Stadium. No draw has occurred in the other six meetings they have had in UEFA's top club-competition with both sides picking up three wins.
Thomas Tuchel will be looking to make a big impact with his new employers when he faces his old rival Guardiola. The two managers have met 10 times in their managerial careers with Tuchel picking up just three wins - including the 2021 Champions League final when he was at Chelsea - while the former Barcelona boss has picked up six including their last two encounters.
