Man City vs Arsenal prediction and odds ahead of FA Cup clash

Manchester City will be looking to lift their first FA Cup trophy in four years while Arsenal will be looking to secure their second under Mikel Arteta. Pep Guardiola's side have an impressive in the cup competition having reached at least the semi-finals in five of the last seven seasons including the last four too.

City are the favourites going into this tie at 8/11 with Betfred while title rivals Arsenal are 16/5 and a draw is 11/4. This will be only the sixth time the two sides have met with the Gunners boasting the better head-to-head record with four wins to City's one - which was back in February 1904.

Arteta's side currently sit five points ahead of the Premier League holders at the top of the table and everyone is expecting this to be a heavyweight clash as the top two best performing teams in the country right now compete for a place in the next round of the domestic cup competition. Since Guardiola's former assistant moved to the Emirates Stadium, the hosts have only lost once against their opponents which is the last time they met in the FA Cup.

Tips

  • Over 9.5 total corners - 5/6

  • Granit Xhaka to be carded - 11/8
