Villa set for surprise swoop
Aston Villa could sign Manchester City youngster James McAtee during this month's transfer window, it has been reported.
BirminghamLive reports that the 19-year-old is 'one of the names on Villa’s transfer wish list during this month’s window'.
McAtee reportedly has less than 18 months left on his contract at the Etihad and could move on sooner rather than later as City look to get a maximum return on their investment before his deal runs down.
City reportedly believe McAtee can become 'the next Phil Foden', if he turns down the move and remains at the club.
Zinchenko linked

El Chiringuito journalist Jose Alvarez [via Sports Illustrated ] claims Real Betis have 'asked' about Zinchenko’s 'general situation'.
It is claimed the Spanish side could make a loan move for the Ukraine international this month.
They may have competition for his signature if Zinchenko is available, however, with previous reports claiming Newcastle and Genoa are also interested in signing him.
