Alvarez interest emerges
Julian Alvarez has previously spoken about his admiration for Manchester City amid reports he could imminently arrive at the Etihad.
Manchester Evening News reports that the forward revealed in 2020 that City were on a very elite list of teams for the young Argentine, who can play on the wing or up front.
In an interview on Radio La Red, Alvarez said: "Playing in Europe is most people's dream because of those leagues' quality and what it means to be at those clubs.
"But I am taking it easy. Obviously I talk to my agent and my family, but I know I have to stay focused on what I'm doing. Later the time will come, through the work I am doing.
"On the PlayStation I play with Barcelona or Manchester City."
Vlahovic 'prefers' Etihad switch
Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic "dreams" of a move to Manchester City amid reports linking him with a move to Arsenal this month, it has been claimed.
According to Italian outlet la Republicca, the player is in "no hurry to decide his future" during this month's January transfer window as he actually wants to secure a move to City at the end of the season.
His club would rather sell him this month, however, as the player's contract expires at the end of next season so they would stand to receive substantially more money should they succeed in shifting him in the current window.
Arsenal are also reportedly desperate to seal his signature this month as they expect more clubs to enter the race for the forward in the summer, and with Pep Guardiola yet to replace Sergio Aguero following his move to Barcelona, City could be one of them.
City 'crazy' for Williams
Manchester City are "crazy" for Spanish winger Nico Williams, it has been claimed.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, several "big" Premier League clubs are following the Athletic Bilbao player, with City being one of them.
Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly also following the player, who has impressed for his club this season.
Fichajes reports that the player has "the ability to change games from the wing" and that he could leave his current club "very soon" if a Premier League club comes in with a "powerful offer".
