Man City transfer round-up: Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan both targeted for exits

Manchester City are in for a busy summer in the transfer market and have already landed marquee signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund for £51million.

They plan to target Kalvin Phillips next and believe the Leeds and England midfielder can replace Fernandinho in the engine room of Pep Guardiola's champions. There could also be more high-profile exits from the Etihad and the futures of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan are uncertain.

The Blues have big decisions to make this summer in terms of who to keep and who to sell. Mirror Sport has the latest transfer round-up, including updates on Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan.

Bernardo Silva responds to Barcelona interest

Bernardo Silva was wanted by Barcelona last summer when he was unsettled at Manchester City because he was living away from his family.

Now Barcelona have rekindled their interest and Silva is refusing to rule out a move to the Nou Camp.

He was quizzed about the links to Barca after setting up both of Portugal's goals in their 2-0 Nations League win over the Czech Republic on Thursday and did not dismiss the possibility of leaving City.

"When the season ends, we'll see what happens," he said.

Sterling wants assurances over Chelsea move

Chelsea want to sign Raheem Sterling - but the England star wants assurances over the club's ambitions, claim The Sun.

Sterling is entering the final year of his contract at Manchester City and is open to leaving this summer. Chelsea's new US owners feel signing Sterling from their rivals would be a signal of their intent to compete with City and Liverpool.

However Sterling wants to continue winning trophies if he leaves City and wants to hear about Chelsea's plans for next season before he makes up his mind. City do not want to lose Sterling and would want £60million for him if he did decide to go.

Barcelona and Juventus want Ilkay Gundogan

Bild claim Barcelona and Juventus are frontrunners to sign Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City.

Gundogan, 31, is entering the final year of his City deal and wants assurances over game time ahead of the World Cup next season from Pep Guardiola before he agrees new terms.

This has alerted Barcelona and Juventus and both are keen to lure Gundogan away from the Etihad. Both will promise him they can give him the game time he wants. City are prepared to be flexible over Gundogan and may let him go for the right price.
