Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte were both missing from Manchester City training ahead of their return to Champions League action this week.
City topped their Champions League group before the World Cup, earning a last-16 clash with RB Leipzig, and their first leg in Germany takes place tomorrow.
The Blues will be looking to bounce back from their frustrating draw at Nottingham Forest at the weekend, which saw them lose ground again on Arsenal in the Premier League, rather than remain at the top.

Despite having plenty of glorious chances to score, City were held at the City Ground by Chris Wood's late leveller - although they didn't appear to pick up any fresh injury concerns, and Phil Foden made his first start in seven after his own injury troubles.
De Bruyne and Laporte joined John Stones in being absent from the City squad who trained at the City Football Academy on Tuesday ahead of their flight to Germany. Youngsters Jadel Katongo, Shea Charles and Alex Robertson were part of the group.
Maximo Perrone, the January signing who has appeared on the bench on one occasion, has been included in City's Champions League squad and was among the group in Tuesday's training session. He was among the group who travelled to Nottingham at the weekend but didn't make the matchday squad, and it remains to be seen if he will fly out with his teammates to Leipzig.
Pep Guardiola and Nathan Ake will face the media after arriving in Leipzig later on Tuesday, offering a more detailed team news update and giving an insight into City's Champions League hopes this season.
