Manchester City's training squad ahead of facing Real Madrid does not include Nathan Ake.
Fresh from extending their impressive undefeated streak to 20 with a 2-1 win over Leeds United on Saturday, City return to Champions League competition on Tuesday as they face Real Madrid in the first leg of a mouth-watering semi-final tie. Pep Guardiola's side crashed out at the same stage to the same team a year ago after a late collapse and will be looking for revenge this time around.
Los Blancos were strolling to a La Liga title win 12 months ago but are 14 points off leaders Barcelona this year, though they did manage to scrape past Osasuna at the weekend to clinch a 20th Copa del Rey triumph. Madrid will also be without defensive duo Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy as well as midfielder Dani Ceballos for the match.

City only have one injury concern in the shape of Nathan Ake. The Blues only had the luxury of a full-strength squad for just over half a match once again at the weekend as the Dutchman limped off the field in the 54th minute.
Ake was making just his second start after a short spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem and appeared to suffer the same injury again against Leeds. The Dutchman was not present in City's open training session on Monday morning and is a major doubt for the trip to the Spanish capital.
Otherwise, everyone was present and accounted for in the session before the Blues fly to Madrid later on Monday. Cole Palmer was also present after reports he had missed recent matches with a minor injury.
The first team were also joined by a couple of EDS starlets with midfield duo Shea Charles and Alex Robertson taking part.
