Manchester City will face Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final.
City booked their trip to Wembley with a hard-fought 4-1 victory over Southampton, in which they at times had to ride their luck. The semi-final draw was held prior to the kick-off of the final match of the quarter-final round on Sunday evening between Liverpool and Forest, and the Blues will face the winners of said match Liverpool at Wembley.
Jurgen Klopp named a strong side to face the Championship club in his bid to win as many trophies as possible this season after claiming the Carabao Cup last month. A late Diogo Jota goal secured the win for the Merseysiders, setting up a mouth-watering clash with City.

Liverpool and City are currently duking it out at the top of the Premier League table and, though they avoided each other in last week's Champions League draw, they will now meet in the FA Cup. The other semi-final will be an all London affair between Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
City overcame the Saints on Sunday afternoon but they made life difficult for themselves, despite the eventual heavy victory. Raheem Sterling gave the Blues an early lead but sloppy mistakes crept in as Southampton pressed high and an Aymeric Laporte own goal brought the home side level.
Southampton came out fighting after the break but just as they looked likely to score, Gabriel Jesus was upended in the box and Kevin De Bruyne tucked away the penalty. Substitutes Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez then saw out the win with two fine goals.
